A nice easy cache on a well maintained trail with fabulous views. Parking is off Hwy 97, Hardy St, to Thorne, to Log Chute Rd, to trail head for Fur Brigade Trail. Log Chute Rd is not maintained in the winter and can be slippery. When returning to Hardy St., if you need to go north on 97 please turn left at Renfrew Rd before reaching the Highway, then left on Heighway, Rt on Lipsett, Rt on Princeton Ave and down to the lights to make your left turn onto Hwy 97.
