Geocache Description:

-Congrats to KatQ2u and SchoolBoyQ for the FTF. They reported the coordinates were off, so they are now updated and correct. (2/01/21)-

This is our first cache, hidden along the Stocker Corridor Trail in lovely View Park. A favorite destination for Sunday walks with my daughter, we knew this would be a perfect place to set a cache.

The Stocker Corridor Trail is the easternmost segment of the Park to Playa Trail, a 13-mile regional trail that connects the Baldwin Hills Parklands to the Pacific Ocean. The Stocker Corridor Trail parallels Stocker Street with immediate connections to Norman O. Houston Park and Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area.

Fallen Fruit planted the ‘Stocker Fruit Park’ at the trailhead for the Park to Playa trail.
The park opened to the public in 2016.

No tools required to obtain the cache, though a TOTT may be required to retrieve the log from within the container. FTF has a few clay trinkets to choose from; excercise caution when opening to avoid spilling the contents.
