In addition to Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI is home to 25 close-knit neighborhoods – Pinecrest being one of the largest. A charming mix of historic and modern neighborhoods are nestled among tree-lined streets. The neighborhood features the new Robert L. Green Elementary (re-built in 2020); a pocket park on Wolf Court; and Henry Fine Park, which has a tot lot playground, a pond, and nature trails that wrap around the Fox Hills subdivision. The City of East Lansing actively supports associations in each of its 25 neighbothoods, which provide opportunities to help enhance the neighborhood's character and quality of life through active community engagement. In Pinecrest, this includes annual events like a Bike & Stroller Rally, Mid-Summer Picnic, and Halloween Parade.
Pinecrest bounded on the north by Lake Lansing Road, on the east by Harrison Road, on the south by Woodingham Drive, and on the west by Coolidge Road. This includes only those properties on the interior of the boundary, except Woodingham Drive where properties on both sides are included. The Pinecrest Townhouses are excluded.
Please feel free to take/leave anything that will fit! The GeoCoins are a freebie to anyone who finds the cache, whether you trade or not. I'm a 3D printing nut, so I'll just keep making them.😃
Mad props to dotdotdash for FTF, within an hour or two of publishing! Wow!
