There are Shiba river and Kamo river as the first-grade river belongs the Ara river water system and they flow with sandwiching Takasaki Line. It assumes that the source of Shiba river is the neighborhood of Sakata Okegawa city and the river joins another Shiba river which has the spring source in Sugaya Ageo city. Then the river goes toward the south to being substantially in parallel with Takasaki Line and changes the flow into the east afterwards and flows to the center of the Minuma-tanbo in Saitama city and flows into Ara river at Shiba river water gate in Kawaguchi city. Shiba river extends for 25.9km.
I installed the cache at the open conduit part apart several hundred meters away from the source of Shiba river.
高崎線を挟むように流れる荒川水系の一級河川として芝川と鴨川があります。
芝川は桶川市坂田附近を源流とし、上尾市で上尾市菅谷の湧水を源流とするもう一つの芝川と合流し、高崎線と略平行に南に向かい、その後東に流れを変え、さいたま市の見沼田んぼの中央を流れ、川口市の柴川水門で荒川に注がれる延長25.9kmの河川です。
芝川の源流から数百ｍ離れた開渠部分にキャッシュを設置しました。
