The HHT was created to take you to places that are part of Harford County's history. Across the tracks is Sophia White Hall's house. Her husband, Aquilla, built the house in 1768. Five slaves worked on this house and were given their freedom as a reward after its completion. Aquilla was sheriff of Baltimore County in 1762, member of House of Delegates in 1763, appointed Colonel of the militia in 1776 and Lord Justice at Bush in 1779.
