The idea for this challenge originated with barefootjeff, a geocacher in New South Wales, Australia and a frequent poster in the Geocaching Forums. Having geocached in New South Wales, and by following his forum posts, I know that I enjoy the same types of caches that barefootjeff does. So, I am copying his challenge cache design that embodies his caching preferences, GC8DQXK. This is the fourth such copy in the USA - the others are in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Indiana.
Put simply, barefootjeff asked this question: “Are you a nemophilist?”
nemophilist
Noun
1. (rare) One who is fond of forests or forest scenery; a haunter of the woods.
Here is how barefootjeff defines a nemophilist in geocaching terms. I've adapted his original text for the local conditions. The necessary qualities in order to log an online find are:
- Agility - You must have found at least 40 caches with a terrain rating of 4 stars.

- Endurance - You must have found at least 20 caches with the Significant Hike attribute.

- Sure-footedness - You must have found at least 50 caches with the Cliffs/Falling Rocks attribute.

- Watchfulness - You must have found at least 50 caches with the Dangerous Animals attribute.

- Awe - as a nemophilist, You must have found at least 100 caches with the Scenic View attribute.

My qualifications:
User has 312 finds (40 needed)
Filters:( terrains (4) )
User has found 233 caches of type "Significant hike" (20 required).
User has found 87 caches of type "Cliffs/falling rocks nearby" (50 required).
User has found 357 caches of type "Dangerous animals" (50 required).
User has found 2018 caches of type "Scenic view" (100 required).}
