Please tuck it back securely and camo a bit as vegetation has disappeared for the winter . Wind it up ! This starts at a SMALL sign on Steventon Village Hall. The very first Parish Hall was a First World War tin hut with earth closets for toilets! The present hall on the site of the old Fire Station was opened in 1960, having cost £5,484 18s 1d. Further extensions were already being discussed in 1982 and eventually after various funding was achieved the hall was extended in 1998. The Millennium room was added in 2004. The hall is used for a great variety of activities and over the years my family and I have partaken in toddler group, singing, ballet, barn dances, Zumba, tap, line dancing, Tai Chi, weddings, church fetes ,school events, groups, meetings and of course the biennial Pantomime and many quizzes! The stained glass window was designed by a local lady who won the competition for a Millennium window. It depicts scenes and old buildings around the village, topped by the White Horse for Oxfordshire.
I would have liked to continue my Mary Poppins theme but linking this to “ The life I Lead” song is rather tenuous! The sign has a phone number. Give each number a letter in order from A to L (omit I).
Then subtract CF from the Northings and add DJ to the Westings to give you the new cache coordinates. It’s about 6 feet up , should be spotted easily, and is tied on. please replace so it doesn’t show too much!
