This is a peaceful spot to sit and reflect now, but the bay below was theymain landing point for the US troops as they returned to seize control of Guam back from the Japanese military. Take some time to read the plaques and continue up the path to see the names of those who fell in the battle. Then set off into the bushes to find the hidden cache which is just off a ways of the park's land.
The cache container is a large peanut butter jar with a blue lid and camo tape. The log and some of the swag are from the previous cache that was at this location for many years but was recently archived. Waste not, want not I figure.
