$30.7 Million Pedestrian Bridge at UVU
6/19/24 No longer the black nano in the pictures.
This amazing bridge has just been opened to the public connecting the west and east sides of the freeway with a safe path for pedestrians to travel. We've watched this bridge's construction over the past year with great interest and were excited to explore it only a few days after its opening. We've talked about hiding a geocache on it several times and today took the chance to do that.
While you're in the area, you might give the mystery/puzzle cache "UVU.Pedestrian.Bridge" GC960PQ a try.
**Update: July 9, 2022:
We have had to move the hiding spot a bit for the safety of the newest container. (Otherwise we might ends up spending $30 Million ourselves on replacements!) I am including spoiler pictures to help out. PLEASE be mindful of muggles. Just sit on the steps as if you are tired or need a break or need to stop and talk on the phone and then slyly rummage around to find it. I hate sticking my fingers in places I can't see (spiders, wasps, etc.) so if you happen to have a flashlight or magnet stick to stick into the hole, it would be helpful. Please don't get bitten or stung!
