The dyke along the Meixi River in Puli Township, Nantou County is undertaking landscape beautification projects at the Xiangshan, Shoucheng, and Niumian dykes. In particular, an ecological hydrophilic park is built behind the Xiangshan dyke. In addition to cycling and walking, the endangered plant Shuishhe willow is also restored. The high-quality hydrophilic space for folks also takes into account ecological conservation. Puli Niumian dike is beautified with images of cows, flowers, and Shaoxing wine. After the Xiangshan dike is a large field of bamboo shoots, the return water irrigated by the Meixi stream is used to create two ecological ponds, one large and one small, and the endangered water willow will be regenerated.
