Another cache for the Great Taste Trail.
I've biked past this spot many times but have never seen anyone using it for a picnic, in fact I've never seen anyone here at all, just pukeko. I thought if I placed a cache here at least some people would visit.
The road is narrow, lots of cyclists use the road as well as the cycle track so please park away from both, at the parking coordinates.
Note: I know that this looks a bit like it might be private property and maybe it is but it was very obviously set-up for visitors to enjoy. Originally it was mown from time to time but I suspect the lack of use has led to a lack of maintenance. Anyways, enjoy the cache!
