The 'rona brought with it a lot of changes to how we live our lives, especially when people started working from home (WFH in 'rona lingo). Offices shut their doors and we were all told to #stayhome and for me and a lot of other Sydneysiders this occurred on March 20th 2020. It was a time where if you hadn't invested in a decent desk chair you were soon to be at the physio in a world of pain.
It made people seriously question their partner's working habits (who were these strangers who paced around on their phones speaking so loudly in the lounge room!?) not to mention their choice in partner altogether in the looming apocalypse. But that said there were a lot of COVID babies born in 2020/2021 so at least people found some way to pass the time.
The internet became really important both as a connection to our workplaces and for entertainment (Netflix, Stan, Hayu, Prime - yep I tried them all). How many of us watched Tiger King and were absolutely disgusted with all of the characters yet in awe of John Finlay's meth mouth makeover?
My personal favourite has been the days when I haven't even changed out of pyjamas or done entire conference calls from bed. A close second was the novelty of conference call Bingo:
And worst of all, at the time of posting this cache it hasn't even returned to normal yet!
