Catch bus 18 from the bus hub, cycle along the cycle way but be prepared to be on the road for some short stretches while they finish the cycle way (within a year of cache placement) walk (a heck of a long way from the inner city) or drive.
This is the 3rd set of public toiletsthat I knoe of in the small settlement of Portobello. The coordinates should take you to a reddy/orange door in the wall of a corrugated iron building. Don't be put off by the code panel of the door. When I visited there was no need to enter any code. There is no sign about open hours. Currently there is no lighting. I think it is because the company that was in the building is no longer there. Natural lighting is sufficent during daylight hours. You enter into a smallish room and the needed cubicle is just off that. It is rectulanger with whitecermanic tiles on the wall and the floor is a speckled overall grey colour. The cubicle is unisex. The loo itself is cermanic in a white colour with a white plastic seat. There is a choice of two rates of water flow for flushing unmentionables away. A hand rail is provided for those who need some assistance in getting seated and/or back upright again. There is room for a wheelchair. The unit holding toilet paper can hold two of the large size rolls. The white cermanic handbasin has cold water only. There is a mirror above if you want to look at yourself or to assist you if you decide on some grooming.There is a soap dispenser to the right. Paper towels are available for hand drying and there is a rubbish bin available for their disposal after use. There is the usual sanitary disposal unit. There is an absence of coat hooks in either rooms. Overall at the time of my visit it was clean, tidy and no sign of any mal odour.
Now, time to get down to the business of finding the cache. From the start coordinates head of on a bearing of 315.98 degrees for a short distance of 87.58 metres. Because this is a high muggle area, especially of the smaller variety who have fun and games in the undergrowth I have resorted to using a micro in the form of a 50 ml screw top container. It is tied to a root with some fishing gut and covered with a small rock that was there and some leaf litter. Please remember to recover to protect it from little fingers. It is on the down hill side of some agapanthus and very close to to an access point made by small muggles
