Indiana Jones is getting old and his adventures are now limited to East Renfrewshire (COVID19 may also have played a factor). Happily the four treasures you (and he) are seeking have been hidden at one of the few remaining historical spots around New Town Mearns. Answer a question correctly at each and you will be given directions to one of four treasures. Complete the entire quest and you will receive an even bigger (but smaller) prize. If walked, you can pick up around 12 caches on your 8 mile travels on easy terrain (more if you are prepared to leave the route by a couple of hundred metres). However, all treasures can be easily cache 'n' dashed.....apart from the final caches which require a half mile in a sometimes muddy woodland strip. Don't forget to add any treasures that you find during the game to your bag, so you can collect all the treasures at the end. If you forget, you can go back to the historical spot and pick them up (but that's a pain).
The first stage it at a historic building in the Eastwood Campus. Whilst these are school grounds, they are also a campus that includes public leisure facilities and the building itself, which is a council building/arts' centre. There is no physical cache here and you don't necessarily even need to leave the car (the clue answer here is very visible from a good distance), but if you are more comfortable then visit the zone in an evening or at a weekend.

This cache is a Wherigo which is a particular kind of cache that may require separate software downloaded onto your smartphone. It may also be played on certain Garmin GPS devices, but we have never tried it and suspect it may not play all aspects of a modern Wherigo. For Android users there is now an integrated wherigo player within cgeo which works very well, so we would recommend using that. We understand that there is an iphone app to play wherigos but we don't know the details or whether is is still supported by developers.
