Salem Cemetery is about 2 miles north of Alba on FM17. It is a well maintained cemetery containing some very old gravesites along with several military graves. Also, the Salem Church of Christ used to be here. After the church was disbanded the church building was moved to another location and converted into a home. In its place a pavilion was built.
This cache is not placed within the fenced in area of the cemetery. It is wheelchair accessiblle, but the cache container can be a little difficult to retrieve. After signing the log please return the cache as you found it. Please remember this is a cemetery and show all residents and vistors proper respect. If there is a funeral in progress please come back another time. You must sign the log to claim a find.
