Many creeks cross the trails in Pinecone Burke, depending on the time of year the water can be a mere trickle or a thundering rush of water. Logs and rocks often allow you a dry way to get across these creeks but the distance you need to leap with each step can very signficantly throughout the year. If that's not enough of a challenge for you come for a wander after a fresh snow in freezing temperatures and add some ice to the mix, just make sure you don't end up in the water.
A small gap existed between some neighbouring caches while I wandered by today on my way to the Coquitlam Lake Viewopoint. Another cache is avialable fo you to grab on these often quiet trails. More and more caches continue to pop up along these trails, which is fun to see.
