This cache is a large container filled with items for the wee ones. When I first started caching, I would bring my boys with me and they just loved finding the large containers full of swag. They enjoyed the hunt for the cache, but even more so, the choosing of the prize always brought a huge smile to their faces. Now that they are 15 they don’t care so much for caching, but would rather be playing soccer, fishing, or skiing. I have placed this cache as a way of bringing some enjoyment to cachers with little ones, since all to often caches are on the small side and do not hold much swag. If you find that the cache is running low on swag, please make note of it in your log, and I will stop by to resupply it (Afterall I do have about 8 years of swag the boys picked up to get rid of 😊). The cache is about .25 miles from the trail head and reasonably close to the trail.
The Pelham Rd Conservation Property is a 40-acre parcel of land recently acquired by the town of Hudson. This property has a several trails on it and connects to the much larger Benson Park. On most days you will find that you have the entire property to yourself. This cache is part of a 7-cache series that I have placed to show you this hidden gem in the town of Hudson. Your loop hike will be about 1 mile in length if you do not hike any of the trails in Benson Park. The trails are easy to follow and the caches are spaced a little over .10 miles apart. There are many side trails you can explore if you want to spend more time out here.
