This challenge cache is located inside Ponce Inlet Park. There is a $10 entrance fee, but well worth it (plus another of the historic caches is there - GC4909). The beach is very popular with surfers and dog-walkers, but the cache is hidden right off a small side path far enough off the main path that there should be no muggle problems. No bushwhacking required, although be careful on the loose rocks.
In order to claim a find on this challenge, you must find and log five of the seven oldest geocaches in Volusia County. Cachers may sign a challenge cache's physical log at any time. However, the challenge cache may be logged as found online only after the log is signed and the challenge tasks have been met and documented. Finds on sufficiently old caches that are now archived will count as qualifiers. The checker below will tell you if you qualify.
