Concealment
In Spy School #8, you learned that sometimes agents have to go under cover. This often means blending in while still being in plain sight. It is about blending in with your surroundings without drawing attention to yourself.
Agents themselves aren’t the only ones in disguise while intelligence gathering. In covert operations, there might be the need to use a concealment device:
- to smuggle information.
- to hide a listening device (bug) or camera to gather information.
- to pass information between two persons who cannot meet.
- to hide escape and evasion tools
A lot of creativity has gone into finding ways to hide these devices in plain sight. Some you may be interested in include:
You are a geocacher, so you are already familiar with hiding something so that the average man or woman on the street would never notice it. You probable have discovered that some of the best hides are right out in plain sight.
