Midorigaoka Cemetery was opened in October,1943 after Kawasaki city decided on a plan as a public graveyard in 1940. In 1953, more than hundreds of cherry blossoms brought from Matsudo, Chiba. You can enjoy the beautiful cherry blossoms in spring. There are also castle ruins, tumulus, remains in the cemetery.

緑ヶ丘霊園は1940年に川崎市が公営墓地として都市計画が決定し、1943年10月に開園しました。1953年には千葉県松戸市より運ばれた数百本の桜が園内に並木状に植えられています。
園内には桜並木に加え、城跡、古墳、遺跡などがあります。
