Geocache Description:

The container IS at the posted coordinates. Go get it!

Lots of geocachers LOVE challenge caches because they provide the cacher with interesting goals and new ways to play the name. I certainly am one of those people - at least I am now.

There was a time, back when I was new to caching, that I looked at a large set of challenges in Overland Park and another set near the airport and thought, "Well those are clearly intended for people with 5000 finds. I have 232. Ignore."

If you are a new or casual cacher and find yourself putting all those other crazy and impossible challenges on your ignore list, then...

THIS CHALLENGE CACHE IS FOR YOU

The Challenge

Find 10 caches where each cache is of the size "OTHER". That's it. It's that easy.

The Checker

This is a challenge cache. That means you need to meet the challenge in order to get your smiley. If in the unlikely event you don't qualify for this cache, you still may sign the log and submit a note here indicating that fact. Then, once you find your tenth Other-sized cache, you can change your log or add a new found it log. If you have any questions about your qualifications, you can check to see if you meet the requirements by clicking the logo below which will take you to the online checker.

PGC Checker

The CO qualifies for this cache.

The Cache

The Difficulty rating for this cache is based upon the difficulty to qualify. The Terrain rating is due to the bushwhacking required to reach Ground Zero.

PARKING NOTE: I could not find public parking anywhere close to this cache except on the shoulder of 129th street. It doesn't look like the best place to park, but there are not any "No Parking" signs, so I think it is fair game. "Safe" parking is at the Overland Park Municipal Court building to the north.
