In 1892, Wilhelm Copony was the first to move to his villa in the new neighborhood. Soon after, paper and machines maker Carl Schiel (1851-1894) commissioned architect Heinrich Eder to build a monumental neoclassical villa (Friedenfelsstrasse 6, today 8). In 1895, Franz Zimmermann, the "father" of the neighborhood, the entrepreneur who owned the entire perimeter on which the neighborhood was built, was able to move to his villa built by Eder in the same style.
