On a weekend visit to my mother-in-law's, my husband and I decided to go exploring and headed to find the Camp Reno Cache (GC1037D). We really enjoyed the drive and the views were breathtaking. On our way back to the paved roads, we decided to place another cache to encourage more cachers to explore the beautiful area.
At time of placing, the area is still recovering from the Bush Fire burn of 2020 but the view of Roosevelt Lake is worth the drive.
If driving, high clearance vehicle is required. 4-wheel drive is encouraged.
Terriain level 2.5 is for vehicle access. If hiking, Terrain would be a 3.5.
HIking or mountainbiking or side-by-sideing are also options. Just be prepared for desert terrain and a bouncy, rutted road. Bring Water!
Container it a bit off the road near a fence - watch for snakes, creepy-crawlies and cacti!
