Whether you are local or just passing through, this is a beautiful spot to enjoy the West Coast rain forest. Parking is available anywhere along the deadend road (this used to be the old Marble Hill Road that led up the mountainside) at the base of Kensington Trail. Enter via the small path immediately across from the driveway by the large cedar tree. You'll need to use your geocaching senses; boots may a good idea in cool weather and caution is recommended if we've experienced a lot of heavy rain. Please rehide well, as this area is also enjoyed by the occasional muggle.
Kensington Trail is a lovely short hike with lots of little side paths leading to Marble Hill Creek. If you have time and are inclined, it's worth the exploration!
*Please mind the signage! We do have a few resident bear and while they have never shown any aggression, you should use common sense. Please do not leave any garbage behind (there is a garbage container at the base of Kensington Trail if you need it).
