This is a lovely walking area with pathways both sides of the canal and both sides of Bridge Road. Head South East on Pathway 22
Interestingly you’ll have the Countess Wear Water treatment plant nearby but it is so unobtrusive you won’t even notice it.
Seems a great area for fishing too.
This exceptionally beautiful walk along both sides of Devon’s radiant Exe Estuary is fairly flat and offers fantastic river and estuary views. You’ll also enjoy the opportunity to spot wildlife as the nearby marshes provide a year-round haven for thousands of birds and are looked after by the RSPB.
