Cache is located INSIDE the fenced in dog park area. Bring your four-legged friend for this one if you got one to lesson muggle attention on you. This cache replaces the 3rd incarnation of the cache with the same name that was 50' from this new location. Hopefully this location will give cachers more cover.
Hidden at the far west side of Elk Grove Park, my very favorite local park. This park is well known for it HUGE Oaks that have been here for 50+ years. Cache is log only so bring a pen. Please place back exactly as found out of clear view, thank you...Park Hours = 7am - 1 Hour Passed Sunset.
This cache is part of a series of caches I am placing to fill out the entire park. Whenever I go caching with my little ones I always appreciate it when there are lots of fun and creative caches for us to find in one continuous hike without having to jump back in the car every time. With my recent move back to the home I grew up in (Visit GC5CARB - A Victorian Treasure) I'm much closer to EG park which will make repair and maintenance of these caches super easy. I used to come to this dog park with my Huskie mix Abner... He enjoyed picking out dogs he liked and then promptly peeing on their owners. Maybe as a thank you I donno. I stopped warning people upon arrival because it was just to embarassing, so now I just come in the gate and separate from him quickly so no one knows he's mine. So watch out for us!
