A Cache More Jersey than Springsteen Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

rainbow_fairy: I had a lot of fun planning and placing this one…went back today to grab all the containers and the landscape really has changed with some flooding. Found a TB that I’ll retrieve. Hope everyone enjoyed it!

Geocache Description:

New Jersey.

Going back to pre-colonial times, we've been closely divided. Ever since the Swedes settled along the Delaware and the Dutch crossed the Bergen Neck, competing cultural, geographical, regional, and religious influence have created debates among us.

What was once East Jersey and West Jersey gave way to sharp divisions about whether to support or take arms against the British. And we are still divided in ways that reflect conflicting historical influences.

Our current debates are merely an extension of historical divides. Is it a hoagie or a sub? Are you drinking water or wooter? Bon Jovi or Springsteen? Philly sports teams or New York?

We may be divided along some lines, but this is your chance to unify New Jersey and settle some of the greatest New Jersey cultural debates of all time...while you're grabbing a geocache, of course.

This is a 3-stage multi in Johnson Park. At the first two stages you'll be asked a simple question that New Jerseyans have debated. The answer you provide will determine your path. Answer correctly, and not only will you help unify a divided state, you'll have the log in your hands in a few minutes. Answer incorrectly, and this may take some time.
