Geocache Description:

This collection of caches has nothing to do with the Church Micro series in the UK. Given that the Australian 2016 census indicates that No Religion and Jedi Knight are the fastest increasing classifications of the optional religion question "What is the person's religion?" it is not surprising that there is surfeit of empty churches that have been repurposed.

240 Franklin Street, Adelaide.  Wesleyen Chapel opened 5 Dec 1869 replacing an earlier building. First used as a free day school, Sunday school and church. Glen Osmond blue stone with Romanesque cement dressings.

  • After union in 1901 the building became a Methodist Church.
  • 1949 West Mission Hall
  • 1955 Pentecostal Hall
  • 1970 Australian Government Workers Association
  • Currently a dance academy

The location of the cache can determined from the following information.

  • A = Number of spokes in the wheel feature above the front door.
  • B = Number of relief squares in the arch feature above the front door.
  • C = Number of tall windows on the lane side of the building.
  • D = B-C
