Sawtooth overflow weir, there is a stone walk down near the platform, passing a small park next to the dam, there are various trees planted in the garden, the forest is scattered, and there is a pavilion with stone chairs, which is also a recreational space.
The exit of the park trail leads to the top of the reservoir dam. It is called "Guanhong Bridge". On the bridge, you can admire the famous serrated natural overflow weir of Liyutan Reservoir. This is the first designed serrated overflow weir in China, with a width of 66 meters and a height of 6.6. Meters, the discharge volume is 2300 cubic meters per second.
The natural flood discharge weir is the natural way to discharge the flood. When the water in the reservoir exceeds the height of the sawtooth weir, the water flows naturally and is discharged from the spillway to the downstream back pond weir.
鋸齒溢流堰, 平台附近有石階步道下行，經過水壩旁的小公園，園內植各種樹木，林木扶疏，又有石椅涼亭，也是一處遊憩的空間。
公園步道的出口即抵達水庫壩頂，名為「觀虹橋」，橋上可以欣賞鯉魚潭水庫著名的鋸齒狀自然溢流堰，這是國內首座設計的鋸齒溢流堰， 寬66公尺，高6.6公尺，洩洪量每秒2300立方公尺。
