Der Buchwald zählt zu den ursprünglichsten Naherholungsräumen der Stadt Fürstenfeld. Mit seiner Fauna, Flora und der Feistritz ist das Waldgebiet der "Dschungel Fürstenfelds". Naturschönheiten, Mythen und Kraftorte säumen den Pfad durch den Wald. Mit dem Öko-Pfad, dem Motorikpark und dem Sagenpfad wird eine interessante, spannende und abwechslungsreiche Wanderung von Fürstenfeld nach Altenmarkt geboten.
Die Finalkoordinaten bekommt ihr nach erfolgreicher Absolvierung aller Stationen des gleichnamigen Adventure LABS und Aufruf des Tagebucheintrages von Station 5.
Der Weg hin und retour beträgt ca. 3 km und kann bei nassem Wetter etwas rutschig sein. Festes Schuhwerk wird empfohlen. Die Koordinaten können im Wald etwas sprunghaft sein, die Stationen des LAB sind aber eindeutig zu erkennen.
The Buchwald is one of the most primeordial local recreation areas in the city of Fürstenfeld. With its fauna, flora and the Feistritz, this forest area is "Fürstenfelds Jungle". Natural beauties, myths and places of power line the path through the forest. An interesting, exciting and varied hike from Fürstenfeld to Altenmarkt is offered with the eco trail, the motor skills park and the saga trail.

The way there and back is approx 3 km and can be a bit slippery in wet weather. Sturdy shoes are recommended. The coordinates can be erratic in the forest, but the stations of the LAB are clearly recognizable.
