This retention pond, one of many you will see doing the series, holds the water runoff from the streets here in Issaquah Highlands. For this cache, you can also catch a view of Lake Sammamish, where this water will end up and eventually become our drinking water. According to a 2015 study, 40% of Washingtonians received contaminated water.
