Geocache Description:

Just one mile West of Princeton is one of the highlights of Bureau County, the Captain Swift Covered Bridge. Built entirely out of wood in 2006, the bridge boasts an arch design similar to the covered bridges erected in the 1800's and is the only two lane covered bridge in Illinois. Captain Swift has a 28 foot roadway width and spans over the Big Bureau Creek at 128 feet in length.

The fifth in a series of caches I am placing (in no particular order) in Bureau County, Illinois. My hope is to get residents and non-residents alike to explore Bureau County.

This should be a pretty easy find for you. The container is large enough for plenty of travel bugs, travel tags and geoswag. Please use stealth when searching to keep this geocache alive and well.

Please DO NOT post photos or comments in the log describing the cache or where to find it. Please let the next finder have the same fun you did. First to find has bragging rights for the life of the cache!

Happy Hunting!

Congratulations to DTCBEARSnMATHMATE for the FTF! 3/4/21
