Geocache Description:

Take RT. 160 FROM Appy toward Lynch. From traffic light go 2.2 miles. Terrain in moderate to steep grade.

Three coal camps were built near this spot at the turn of the 20th century. They are Inman, Linden & Laural.The parking co-ordinance( N36. 54.942 W082. 49.328)place you where the Linden portals can be seen. Notice the craftman-ship of the hand hewn rock portal.See the beaver dam catching water from the mine.The gravel road to the left of the parking area led to the old Bullitt elevator shaft, called appropriately- the Linden shaft. In the cache are many items, mostly with a mining theme. THE GOLFING DOLL IS FOR NOODLEHEAD!!!!!!!!!!
