We were introduced to Geocaching a year or so ago by my niece Lauren while over on holiday from England, me and Wifey have become new devotees!
There were not many caches in Kings langley, so I thought I'd start adding some.
This was one of the first I'd thought of and made, and was waiting for the Kings Langley Cricket Clubs new pavillion to be completed. I had scouted the area multiple times, my choice spot was a few meters too close to one of my other caches!. Once the pavillion was completed I realised that my other potential hidding spots were all under one of the multiple CCT camera's fitted to the new buildings, so had to look for alternative spots.
So this one is one overlooking the Francesco Crescent Reserve, used as Cricket Oval and football pitches. I have found and enjoyed a number of local Cricket themed caches, so this is my take on "Cricket Legends". My "Cricket Hero's" being: Ian "Beefy" Botham, Andrew "Freddy" Flintoff and more recently Ben Stokes, I go to all the Sydney Ashes matches , can you guess who I support?
This is another home made cache, a hopefully fun one that should not over tax your Geocach-ability. Depending on the day and time of day you go for this one, there could be a lot of Muggles to contend with, as close by is the basket ball court, Cricket pavillion, cricket nets, and for the little muggles swings etc! You may need to use your best stealth mode to not get spotted! Hence difficulty 2
The actual log is inside a small container within the cache that will need tweezers to remove.
Please try and replace the cache as found, plus No Spoiler photos or comments pls, So it's as Fun (or frustrating!) for the next cacher along.
There is a car park, or street parking on Francesco Court.
