Geocache Description:

This area is a new trail formed from a reclaimed mining waste area on the out skirts of South Fork, which is known for being in the the path of the great 1889 Johnstown Flood. The plan is for this trail to connect the South Fork Dam area to the Path of the Flood Trail that continues to Johnstown on the other side of South Fork. You are looking for an ammo can in the woods on hill side of the trail. Walk is approximately 0.6 miles from parking. Hunting is allowed in the area, so be sure to wear your orange.

Want to thank the landowners next to the trail for permission to place this cache!
