This is a single stand alone uniesx 24/7 toilet in the form of a small light green rough cast rectangular building with a very dark brown/green coloured corrugated iron roof. The roof extends out front giving a rather asthetically pleasant look to what would otherwise been a bit of a blot. Within a few meters there is a rubbish bin beside the bike track which connects the east and west harbour bike tracks. Using a bike will be a good way to get to within about 10-15 metres of the final and then your on your own as far as finding the best way as to how cover the final short distance.
Anyway, back to the loo which is of the ExeLoo brand. When vacant the door stands ajar and there is a green flashing light on the outside panel. Enter and you will see a red button to press and the door will slide shut all on its own. The loo itself is stainless steel with a white plastic seat. Hand rails for assistance for those who need them. It is wheel chair friendly. Loo paper is dispensed by pressing the button to the side when seated. There is a sanitary disposal unit. For those who have poor eyesight there are instructions, both inside and outside in braille. Tiles line the walls and floor. The wall are a near white colour and the floor a green/ grey sort of colour. To flush the toilet you need to activate the hand washing water by placing your hands under the sensor. The soap is also dispensed by a sensor as well as the drier which is blown hot air. If your one of these people who dispenser with hand washing you can't escape having the toilet flushed unless you didn't close the door, or you don't want to leave. To leave, press the same button that you used to close the door and it will slide open. There is some natural ventilation and lighting. Most lighting comes from a light bulb.
