The old road wasn't good enough I guess. 
Edit- The reason why there is a thorn attribute is because there are thorns. There are thorns, so there is a thorn attribute. Thorns= thorn attribute. Take one guardrail, add a cache, see thorns, post thorn attribute. Did I mention thorns?
