New Hope is the Delaware River's most perfect
petite village. Dozens of fine restaurants whose structures
date from the 18th century are arrayed like precious stones among
all manner of other stores designed to separate you from your
discretionary income. In the middle of all this, hidden in plain
sight is a fairytale oasis, complete with fountain and populated by
geese.
To claim this cache, fill in the following
blank: from the bridge you can see a slice of _________ on the
roof. You can't do this from your car: park and walk. Although this
cache can of course be completed by day, the place is arguably more
beautiful when the sun goes down, so visit around dinnertime
and be sure to take and post pictures of
all the intersting places and things nearby but no spoilers
please!!!
Budget at least a couple of hours to explore New
Hope and Lambertville across the river. There are score of historic
sites, some on the NRHP. Parking is very difficult and often
traffic is at a crawl.
Update 05/23/07: Please read the page
carefully as the hints and the coordinates are PERFECT!!!
