A new series of history written in stone. Caches for winter when you don't want to search in the snow.
The name alone should give you a clue. I am not providing the name or any other information. If you don't know the history behind what is here, email me and I will provide you a short history, and provide sites on the net with a more detailed history.

Dec 4, 02: I have thought about this and have decided that to be fair to people that really don't know some of the local history or are from out of town that I should give the name of the person I am looking for, so I have included their names in the hint.
