Hoist Her High Traditional Cache

VTMountainBiker: It was fun while it lasted. This is the first time I’ve pulled a cache that was still in place. I’ve been meaning to get to this for awhile now. I went out with intentions to fix the placement. Someone burnt the rope (most likely to get the cache down), so the rope was now shorter. I attempted to replace the cache to its original glory in a number of places nearby but all were way to visible from the now much more substantially used trail right nearby. Being limited due to proximity to other cache and the lack of a think understory of trees to conceal this cache better, I’m removing it from this location. I hope to give it another go nearby if I can find another suitable location, but for now no intention to immediately replace. Sorry for all who found it on the ground and didn’t experience the full effect.
