Geocache Description:

A Traditional Cache in Kemptville's Ferguson Forest Centre

A good friend and I have been going snowshoeing in Ferguson this winter to get out of the house and have some time to chat. We try to find lesser used trails so that we have to actually use our snowshoes. On Saturday, We noticed a small unmarked "trail" leading off the more major one that we were on. We decided to explore it and I hid this cache. The snow was very deep but our snowshoes were up to the task. I do not know where this trail actually goes or what it is like with no snow so, "buyer beware" or "mileage may vary". Regardless, it led to a nice more open canopy of Birch and Poplar trees. Maybe next Saturday we'll try to walk the whole thing...
