With Opening Day right around the corner, I've created a series of 9 caches in honor of our local ballclub, the Frisco Roughriders. Established in 2003 after moving from Shreveport, LA, the 'Riders play in one of the most iconic and beautiful minor league parks in America, Dr. Pepper Ballpark.
The Rangers might be a routinely abysmal franchise, but several future stars have sharpened their skills in Frisco before going onto brighters lights and bigger stages. Originally a catcher, Isiah Kiner-Falefa was drafted by the Rangers in 2013. Kiner-Falefa logged time all around the infield before settling in as the Rangers starting 3B in 2020. Kiner-Falefa's defense in the "hot corner" won him a Gold Glove award in 2020.

After the season, the team in their infinate wisdom announced he would be moved to short stop, a position he has made 17 starts at during his brief major league career. Kiner-Falefa spent part of two seasons in Frisco and recorded the same amount of walks (BB) both years. How many walks was that?
