With Opening Day right around the corner, I've created a series of 9 caches in honor of our local ballclub, the Frisco Roughriders. Established in 2003 after moving from Shreveport, LA, the 'Riders play in one of the most iconic and beautiful minor league parks in America, Dr. Pepper Ballpark.
The Rangers might be a routinely abysmal franchise, but several future stars have sharpened their skills in Frisco before going onto brighters lights and bigger stages. One of them was Lewis Brinson.

After coming within one pitch of a Championship (twice!) the Rangers drafted Brinson with the 29th overall pick in the 2012 Major League Draft. He signed a 1.6 million dollar signing bonus, and spent parts of two seasons in Frisco. In August 2016 he was traded to Milwaukee. They traded him to the Miami Marlins with three other players in exchange for Christian Yelich.
In what state did Brinson attend HS?
