This cache is 4WD access only. Approximately 55km from Mr Isa as you head towards Cloncurry is the turn of to Fountain Springs. It is just after a large truck stop and is well signed. The road to Fountain Springs goes south.
Approximately 20km from the highway is the ghost town Ballara, where you can turn West to get to Hightville.
You'll reach the Hightville Cemetery before the Township.
The whole area is fascinating and Fountain Springs is stunning.
