The only time I was here before was in early 2016 to collect a cache up on the rocks behind. Back then, the brambles were so thick that access into the house was quite impossible (see the gallery images for the archived cache), so I was pleased to see on a recent visit that they had been cleared. I don't know a lot about the history of this 2 roomed cottage. There appears to have been another two buildings and a well nearby according to the old maps, and indeed there is some masonry to be seen hidden in the trees about 30m to the south.
