Geocache Description:



Longhorn cattle were frequent fixtures on the area farms through the decades. Around 1900, livestock was giving way to crops as the primary agricultural emphasis. This cute gal was photographed on the G. W. James farm near present day Forest Lane and Garland Avenue.
