Geocache Description:

Maattmoo

Whats in a name hey...? Well mine is a nickname. I've had it all my life, well ever since my cousin who is 2 months younger than me couldn't pronounce my actual name (Matthew). And so as often they do they stick.

I thought one day I would be able to leave school and be rid of my nickname, but I was wrong. About six months into my new job out of school and working in a place where no one knew me, who should turn up as a new employee, a friend of my cousin, and walking through the door she screamed... Aaaah Matt Mooooo...! In an instant the name was out and forever brandished by all who spoke to me.

So what to do...? Embrace it I suppose.

I did and in the age of the internet beginnings and AOL dial up, picking my first username was a big thing to decide. I typed in me little mattmoo name, but SHOCK!! it already existed somewhere, wow! But not the type of person to be the second or third or whatever version, I instead opted for the aa in the name. That username went through, and since that first AOL email in the 90s, I have ever since been Maattmoo.

So who is coming to find Maattmoo?

PS. The hide date was my 40th Birthday, so it felt like a great day for the hide..
