One of my favorite spots in the area since I was a kiddo. These orange groves were commercialized in 1948 by Perry and Annie Lee Hayes and later owned by the Henderson Family. After 71 years, they closed the doors to their orange and grapefruit packing business. There are several Bombax ceiba trees on the property that also create a partial canopy over Albee Farm Road - you can't miss the bright red blooms in the winter months and cotton-like fibers floating in the wind during the Spring months!
The cache is a micro just a few steps from plentiful parking. The homesite is not occupied, but please observe the no trespassing signs - you won't need to in order to get the smiley. Lots of muggle traffic here - please rehide well.
