Quick walk into the woods and find a large cache.
You in the Mark Twain National Forest, here there was a recreation area that was closed back in the 1980's it was called Flowering Dogwood. Now you will be walking in an area of forest that open to everyone.
There are other geocaches in the area, this one is a little different because it's a large cache. Please close the containers back up, yes there are two in an effort to have more dry space I added a zombie box to the bucket. The bucket does best leaning to one side.
A walk in the woods, there are a few old roads and trails but no real trail to the cache.
Come back to large cache.
Be ready to trade. There is room good trades here and there some to start with. This one has space for you to leave a larger items.
This area is known as Flowering Dogwood. In the past, there was a picnic area down the main road. Today people still visit the area for a nice walk.
I have permission from the District Ranger for this and other caches in the Mark Twain National Forest. This cache is in a general forested area. There could be others in this area. It is open for hunting so if it is hunting season be aware and consider wearing a bright color.

There is no real trail to this cache. There are a few old roads in the area but the cache is off trail. So you could ride a mountain bike to it but you may not be able to push a stroller to it.
It's a nice walk in the woods. We are sure a trail will develop over time. It would be nice if you try not to go too direct in order to keep the cache hidden. Please re-hide the cache as you found it.
Write the condition of the cache in you on-line log, Thank you!
