Geocache Description:

In January 2020 work began on a bridge over the 56 freeway to join 2 sections of Torrey Meadows Drive. Living close by I was able to watch the progress and the stages of construction and it was finally opened with no fanfare in February 2021. Since then I've had a decision to make when I head out for my daily exercise, left turn or right turn? What a choice!

This cache is to help out fellow geocachers who are working on getting a M.O.T.D. There are 3 stages and some very simple Math involved with an overall walking distance of less than half a mile, if you are feeling lazy you can even drive but then you would miss out on the joy of walking over this fine new bridge!

There is parking along Torrey Meadows Drive just watch out for the red curbs. Co-ordinates were taken on a cloudy day but it should be very clear where you should be standing to get the information needed in case your GPSr or phone has you a short distance away.

At the posted co-ordinates you should see a large "tombstone" sign for a small housing development and a cross street sign for a happy sounding place and Torrey Meadows Drive. WP #2 is to be found at N32 57.ABC W117 09.DEF

A = # of letters in the second word of the lower street sign.

B = # of letters in the word on the "tombstone" sign, appropriate for Geocaching.

C = # of letters in the first word of the upper street sign plus one.

D = # of letters in the first word of the lower street sign minus one.

E = C

F = B

At WP #2 you will find a 6 digit number. The Final co-ordinates are at N32 57.GHI  W117 09.JKL

G = the last digit in the number.

H = the first digit in the number.

I = the second digit in the number minus the third digit minus the last digit.

J = the second digit in the number minus the third digit.

K = the fourth digit in the number plus the last digit

L = the fifth digit in the number.

Now enjoy the walk across the bridge and wave at the traffic if you like. You will be looking for a camo'd bison tube recycled from another Multi cache courtesy of "surfersteve". Have fun.
